Father is retired      policeman, mother a retired secretary Worked every year since 7th grade,      starting with a paper route, Hot Dog stand,      Florist,  Collection Agency, School library,      paralegal, etc. Co-Founder of Citizens Against      Uncontrolled San Juan Expansion (citizens      group formed to preserve rural,      equestrianand historical character of San      Juan Capistrano)

Appointed by Supervisor Tom Wilson to serve on his committee evaluating the 14,000      home proposal by Rancho  Mission Viejo

Served on City's ad-hoc committee investigating new Open Space Bond measure and      Citizen's Survey

Over 4 years as Chairman of the Orange County Council of the AeA (trade association      of the technology industry with  over 200 member companies in Orange County, and      3000 companies nationwide)

Four years on the National Board of Directors of the AeA

Recipient of Alumni Medal of Honor from St. Ignatius College Prep

Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Chairman, Church Endowment Fund

CEO of various software companies (providing software to both the Court system  and      wireless companies)

15 years experience running businesses; forming strategic alliances, negotiating      contracts and international projects, and building winning business teams
